The 8th Print of Our 52 Prints Project - A Print for Every Week of 2025.

This week’s print in our 52 Prints Project draws inspiration from our love of skateboarding. We took advantage of a recent sunny day down here in Margate, spent it with the kids on a bike ride and skate, and had an absolute blast. The dynamic energy of skateboarding inspired us to experiment with a new illustration style we've been eager to try for a while.

As we've mentioned, this project is the perfect opportunity for us to push our creative limits, and we’ve really enjoyed exploring new techniques outside of our usual approach. This print represents a big departure from our comfort zone, focusing on simplifying our marks a huge amount to create a more minimalistic illustration.

We typically don’t feature too many figures in our own prints that often either, so this style shift was another exciting challenge. Experimenting with new brushes and techniques has been an incredible journey, and we’re loving the results so far.
